Q. What is your booking process?

A. Once you have completed the Enquiry form I will get back to you, if I am able to offer you availability you will be required to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure the day. Upon receipt of your £50 non-refundable deposit you will receive a booking confirmation with a full breakdown of all wedding information and services required. You will then have a 7 day cooling off period, after which you will enter a contract with myself and be bound by my Terms & Conditions

Q. What are your accepted methods of payment?

A. I accept direct bank transfers only.

Q. Do i need to pay a deposit?

A. Yes! You are required to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit within 48hrs upon my initial reply of availability and quote. After 48hrs your date will be released and any Bride who enquires for that date can secure it at any point with a deposit. Once I have received your deposit you will be sent a booking confirmation within 48hrs.

Q. Do you have a minimum booking fee?

A. I will not attend a wedding where less than 3 people require makeup + Trial (Bride on the day, Trial Appointment and 2 extra people on the day). In circumstances where this criteria isn't met I accept a minimum booking fee of £150. A surcharge will be applied upon booking until the £150 minimum fee is met. 

Q. How many people can I have in my Bridal party for makeup?

A. My limit is 6 people due to the time it takes for each person. However I work closely with another makeup artist who upon availability can also help on the morning if your Bridal party is larger than 6 or requires a particularly early start time. If this Artist isn't available (you will be notified in my 1st correspondence) then it is your responsibility to source another Makeup Artist.

Q. Can i book you as a 2nd makeup artist on my wedding day? 

A. I do accept weddings where another artist has already been booked -. I require a  £150 minimum fee and a deductible £50 non-refundable deposit. Upon receipt of the deposit you will receive a booking confirmation, after a 7 day cooling off period you will then enter into a contract with myself and my Terms & Conditions

Q. When do I pay for the Trial?

A. The Trial must be paid for at the time of the appointment - this may be paid before I leave via bank transfer or cash. 

Q. When Do i pay the final balance?

A. I will invoice you 1 month before your wedding date, and your final balance must be paid 2 weeks before your date - this will be clearly indicated upon your initial booking confirmation. After your Trial I will send a revised copy of your Booking Confirmation with the Trial cost deducted upon receipt of payment. 

Q. What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

A. In the unfortunate event that you wish to cancel your booking you are required to give 6 months notice - after that time the full balance will still be payable by the specified due date. Terms & Conditions are provided upon paying your £50 non-refundable deposit after the 7 day cooling off period you enter a contract with myself and are bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Q. Do you charge extra for sundays and bank holidays?

A. Sundays and Bank Holidays (including Bank Holiday Monday and Good Friday) have a surcharge of £40.00.

Q. Are you insured?

A. Yes! I am fully insured with Salon Gold.

Q. Are you qualified?

A. I have undergone numerous training in Makeup Artistry - I hold a Certificate in Fashion Makeup - Cassie Lomas Makeup Academy, Fashion Makeup & Session Styling - AOFM London, NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy, Certified MAC Cosmetics Retail Artist.

Q. How far in advance should I book for my wedding day?

A. I currently take wedding bookings up to September 2020. Weekends from March - September are very popular with limited availability.

Q. What Locations/areas do you cover?

A. I work predominately in the Shropshire area. I am based in Shrewsbury but fully mobile - prices do not include travel expenses, this will be added in separately upon quotation. I can travel anywhere in the UK but if the journey in more than 2hours from Shrewsbury you may be required to provide Hotel accommodation and expenses. 

Q. Are you available for destination Weddings?

A. Yes absolutely! All prices remain the same, however flight costs, airport parking, baggage costs, fuel, hotel accommodation and transfers will be covered by yourself. 

q. Do i need a trial appointment?

A. I do prefer all clients to have a Trial, your wedding is such a special day and this will ensure you feel 100% confident on the day.

Q. Do i need to provide anything for the Trial?

A. It would be great if you could have some images of makeup looks you like, these could be of my own work or of images you have found online! Please keep in mind that these images are just for reference and makeup will be adapted to suit your face shape, colouring and facial features.

Q. Do you provide lashes on the day?

A. Yes I provide strip lashes on the day these are included in the cost if you wish to have them. They are also provided in your Trial appointment. I do offer individual lashes but this will need to be agreed upon at your Trial. 

Q. Do you offer Airbrush makeup?

A. Unfortunately no this isn't an area I specialise in, I prefer to work with brushes and products I know and love. 

Q. What brands do you use in your kit?

A. I use a wide range of brands and I am constantly updating my kit - MAC Cosmetics, Charlotte Tilbury, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Laura Mercier, Glam Glow, Clinique, Benefit, Nars etc...
